Luckily for him, the Seelie Queen had a somewhat better attention span and spotted him the moment he wandered into sight, looking decidedly caught between dazed and amused. Smiling to herself, she stepped behind a pillar and edged around it to peer out the other side. It was a strange deja vu moment, very nearly like the old days of hide and seek among stately trees. This time, though, it was all modern and steel and concrete and busy humans.
