Warnings: Possible injury.
Summary: Galen lends a healing hand.
While it was true that one never forgets how to ride a bicycle, it is also true that figuring out how to ditch it without significant injury to one's mortal body is rather more difficult. Still, she thought, this was the best way to get his attention. And if giving the appearance of helplessness in front of him awoke some sentiment on her behalf...well, she knew that would be useful down the road.
She'd been riding around the neighborhood for a while, familiarizing herself with the layout and waiting for Asclepius to return from dropping his girls off. She knew it would be late before he got home, but she felt confident that no matter how tired he was, he wouldn't be able to go against his nature to help out someone injured.
Her timing was perfect as always; as she rode up his street again, she could see his car's headlights pulling into his driveway. She passed right in front of the house just as he got out of his car; as he did, she gave an imperceptible twist of the handlebars. The bike slewed violently to the side and dumped itself--and her-- onto the road ahead. She gave a convincing squawk of surprise, followed by a deeper groan of pain.
