  • niqaeli: how (not) to write smut that doesn't leave me dashing for IM to torment my friends with - Describing just the physical actions is... well. Yeah. It's mechanical. Mechanical isn't generally sexy. And when you focus solely on describing the action, it is really, really easy to end up at terrible and unfortunate places. If you make a point of focusing on the people and their motivations and headspace(s), even if you stumble, it is probably going to be a lot, lot better. -
