- witchqueen: What I learned about tone - People came up with a few different examples. One of them did not fit my explicit criteria. Several others did not fit my implicit criteria: in mediafandom and online. Those examples that did fit all five criteria pre-dated livejournal. -
- irisbleufic: Midnight Help-Desk never fared very well in its other life, but maybe it'll fare better here. - In fandom, we have an advantage that commercial writers don't, and that's genuine real-time interaction with our readers (be it on LiveJournal, mailing lists, IM, etc.) - if, that is, you consider it an advantage. -
- fairestcat: How I Beta - Betaing is an odd process, I honestly have no idea how my process compares to anybody else's, so my question for the betas and writers on my friendslist is, how does this compare to your beta process? -
