  • [dreamwidth.org profile] thuviaptarth: in vidding] Storyboards - I love seeing other people's storyboards; in fact, I am tremendously curious about other people's processes in general. -

  • [dreamwidth.org profile] petra: Songs that have been altered for me by fandom - What has fandom done to your response to songs, vid-wise or otherwise? -

  • [dreamwidth.org profile] whyareyoulikethis: [in fanspastic] [memes] The Broccoli Test - "Passing the broccoli test" became fandom shorthand for the couple that could convey everything from "Don't order the chicken here, it sucks" to "I love you and want to have your babies but I'm still too pent up by heteronormative standards of masculinity to act on it- wait for me!" in a single significant eye-fucking glance.[...]The broccoli test is an old school meme that hasn't made the rounds in a while, so we here at Fanspastic thought it was time to revisit it with some new pairings. -

  • cschick: Fan fiction archives and creative commons licenses - I have some thoughts on the Creative Commons licenses, and their application to/effects on fan fiction archiving. -

  • friendshipper: Timelines - I'm also curious how fanfic writers handle it when they work in fandoms which are already significantly dated, like "Starsky & Hutch" or "Man From Uncle" *looks at [info]xparrot* ... do you research the era of the show? Do anachronisms like cell phones bother you, or does it only matter if the show is very specifically rooted in a particular historical time (like a Western)? Does this question come up a lot in older fandoms, or do most people tend to ignore it? -
