Hehe, I'm in Pittsburgh, and hey! I have family in Henniker, and I've been to Center Harbor just to go to Keepsake Quilting and OMG I almost had an orgasm in there, I was so excited! (Have I scared you yet?) But now I know I can't make a whine of protest about our weather....I remember reading that the highest wind speed ever recorded in the continental U.S. was on Mt. Washington. And you have 'feet' of snow? (is face-down on the mat, pinned by mijan)
I have your smutmas fic bookmarked! Isn't that funny how smutmas stretches you as a writer? Last year, I actually wrote a forced bonding fic called "Unnatural Selection" that was Harry/Neville, main pairing Snarry, though, and it had (hard swallow) MPREG, which was a milestone for me, as mocking it has been one of my most serious fandom pasttimes. Hehe.
You are so right. Snape/Harry/Draco sounds yummy. I'm not much of a threesome person, to be honest, although I've read some convincing ones, but this one I could do...maybe. I almost did it in smutmas, but then I couldn't. I'd been waiting to write that Snarry and that was it! But maybe for beltane. I did write a fic for the pimp_my_3some fest that (duh) had a threesome of Snape/Harry/Wilson( from House. M.D.) My problem with the threesome is that I'd have to characterize ad nauseum in order for it to make perfect sense. And brevity, as you've experienced, is not one of my fortés.
I never read fic when I'm writing it, which is almost all the time, but since your fic isn't Snarry, that means I'll be able to read it. H/F/G would be a great dynamic. I think Harry has a lighter side to him that's never been properly exploited (which would be pure joy to watch the twins develop), and I think the twins aren't all pranking and silliness, but have an intuitive feel for when to turn it on and off, if it's someone they care about. Really, I've can't say I've ever read them in a fic where the two of them were combined with a third person in a serious way...except, I translated a French author (Lychee) about a year ago--did all her Snarrys, but she had one fic, Chronicles of a Last Year, that's a Snape/G/F that's well done, has light-hearted bits, but isn't essentially humorous. (I've friended you there, btw, cause I'm locked).
You know, I went to see OotP at the IMAX in Toronto and sat next to geoviki, and we had a great talk. Guess it's only natural to get a bit polarized, but srsly, when the time comes to sign up for the snarry meet-up online, I'll remember and come looking for you. It's great fun and we misbehaved in a major way. :)
If I remember correctly, you and I are about the same height, so be careful in those snow drifts....
