What a beautiful story; fitting into canon structure and answering lost years questions, with respect for Remus/Tonks, rich ensemble interactions, a terrific Charlie (who we know so little about in the books), and a complex Remus. I've enjoyed many Lupins in fan fic, but this one is particularly like canon-Lupin in being both charismatic and cowardly, shrewd and reckless, passionate and standoffish -- and mysterious and dark enough to appeal to Charlie, the fellow committed to dragons.
I love that Remus' appearance past the events of Deathly Hallows has such a simple and plausible explantion, yet the reveal of why is illustrated through multiple events. Hermione noticing Hagrid's behavior in 1998 being like his in their first year at Hogwarts is one example of how canon weaves through this story. By the way, I cried from the first scene, due to the tone of loss and love among the characters. The dual-time periods really kept the suspense going for me.
