The fact that one of the almost-last sentences thematically summarises the whole story seems extremely appropriate - the way it all ties together so neatly is testament to how good of a writer you are.
The theories of wandlore were perhaps my favourite part of the fic, just because I'm such a freak for magical theory, and you explained things so well, with the way the wood of Draco's wand required dominance, and the Elder wand requiring power and command and thus torturing Harry because that wasn't really him, and the way they chose to overcome that little problem was inspired (and hot!). I especially like the whole discussion of pain, about how Harry holds onto his, and suffers because that's what he knows how to do, but can't accept pleasure, because that just seems so exactly Harry. And I loved Snape's role in this, and how it was his doing that caused the Elder wand to break in the end, giving closure for Harry and Draco, but also for himself - and he so deserved it - and Dumbledore.
All in all, this was an extremely enjoyable story, and a very nice picture of poor Harry's mental and emotional state and how it settled the way he and Ginny hadn't been able to, and the plot was clever and fantastically executed. ♥
