He had felt Addi attempt to jerk herself from off of his hand and failed. Like he had put some of that gorilla glue on his damn hand and then stuck it there. Her smile was about as strained and uncomfortable as Dean felt. Even if her demand was a silly one. Dean's expression in response made that painfully clear. He would have done it by now if he could. "We need to get someone else to serve," Dean decided while still picking up another container to help her serve up some brisket for the waiting customer. "Find someone to help the issue." "You two are adorable." An older woman chuckled at them from within the line, causing Dean to give his own brand of a forced smile. The two now matching a bit too suited with twin expressions. Dean half twisted his body, looking about to see who among the pack was here to give Addi leave. "Who we got?" He asked.

Though Dean decidedly understood and full heartedly feel Addi's breathed statement, the Beta gave a tight smile that protected an embarrassed sort of bashfulness. Bashful bau and sun shining gal. No one in that line needed to know the reality. Hell, many were already piecing together their own realities and stores in that moment anyhow. Dean looked up at at Addi, his expression trying to keep an amused and casual expression. "If I did I'd likely be stuck draggin' your body." He murmured through barely moving lips. Though, the Beta did move with Addi. Pivoting so she could pass that last bit of brisket off that she had almost wore not a moment before. Dean looked about them along with Addi, spotting the same problem. Unlike the female Beta, he couldn't stop the uncomfortable groan that ached in the back of his throat. When Addi called the boys, they perked up much like the pups they were. Eyes alert and full of something between curiosity and dread that they had been found out about any number of mischiefs they might have done. Hell, they couldn't have done anything and just fearing that Addi had read their thoughts. They ambled over, though, interested in the sight they saw before them. The younger one looked darkly amused - ready to be next in line to being the town gossip. The older one, well, he just looked at Dean like maybe he should give the Beta his Last Rights. "Just help the people with the food," Dean answered the silent question, irritation cutting his gesture at the line with his unstuck hand.
