"Thanks?" Jacob tilted his head as Ben offered him the shirt he had been wearing the night before. He took the shirt and slipped it over his head. He knew he had his own clothing. They were in his apartment, surrounded by his stuff. If he needed a shirt he could just grab one. Ben had to realize that, too.
"I do, yeah. It's not a nightmare fridge anymore." Had they had that conversation before? Probably not. Jacob tried to do as little hosting as possible for obvious reasons. Having more humans in his life meant he tried harder to blend in.
He watched Ben for a moment, the corners of his mouth pulling down into a frown. "You okay?" He asked, before remembering Ben had been trying to slip out before he woke up. "You know... you don't have to stay if you don't want to."
