Maybe, one day when Loki felt more deserving of something like love, there would be an effort to find someone more like Bucky rather than Steve. Someone who could like both and who really might accept Loki as they were without trying to change anything that didn't line up with what they wanted or what they believed a good partner, a good person, should be.
"You know, I'm sure I could find a way to do both." Loki purred. It really wouldn't take much. A little magic, some concentration... but maybe it was best not to push his luck. Better to do something both would be comfortable with. So he pulled away when Bucky did and allowed himself to shift forms before letting out a sigh of relief. It felt good to be able to just be with someone. "You can still tell me if this isn't to your liking." Loki said brushing her hair back as she moved towards Bucky again. She was still careful of the shoulder, mindful not to touch what he asked her to avoid as she pressed a kiss to his lips.
