No one deserved to die poorly or before their time. He reached out to Edgin's hand with his own and offered his sincerest apologies. "I'm sorry. Their cause was a worthy one and it was not in vain."
Retracting, Gale straightened up. "That I hope I get to see before we set out. Perhaps a while later? I was going to try and scrounge up something for my companions and whoever else is hungry. I'm sure there has to be something worthwhile in the cupboards. If not, our packs."
