The Moment After Meme

You've seen The Morning After, and the Build-Up, and even the Mid-Fuck memes. But what about the moment after characters have done the deed? Do they cuddle or light up a cigarette? Go for seconds or reflect on what just happened? Hop into the shower to wash away their sins? Regret everything?

Well, we'll find out, won't we?

How it works:

- Post with your character, name and fandom in the subject. Include any prefs or no-no's.

As soon as he hears the snickering, Azirphale glances over at him. It's difficult only because he has trouble looking the other in the eye, focus bouncing all over the area around Crowley instead of settling.

"I don't see what's so funny," he murmurs, expression harsh briefly before softening and going right back to feeling embarrassed. He feels a touch of shame, too, which is expected.

	"You are, actually. And you're whole" His tone is full of teasing, beaming at the angelic being as he gestures, meaning his reaction to...everything. Crowley, of course, looks calm and collected. "Me?" He gasped. If only it was a show and he didn't mean it. Aziraphale pulls the covers tighter to his chest and he pouts. His brow knots in further worry as he whispers, "My hole? What about my hole?"

He's one very overstimulated angel currently. His mind is very befuddled and it's all Crowley's fault, really. Aziraphale lowers his eyes and says, "Whether it was appropriate or not, I thought it was quite..." He trails off as he speaks, words becoming harder to hear and then just to lips moving soundlessly.

Well, now he's getting red int eh face for not understanding properly. "Oh. Right, of course." He would have known that should his whole being not feel as if it short circuited not but a few minutes ago.

His gaze snaps up, directly to Crowley's and wide as a deer in headlights. "What? No. I... I thought it was very clear my opinion on it. I just...don't know if I should say it aloud." The taboo behind it, the ears that he knows could be all around and anywhere to hear. That may be what bothers Aziraphale the most and prods the bit of guilt he's noticing blooming. An angel? With a demon? In a bed? It's just an absolutely preposterous concept. So much so that he didn't think there would be a punishment for it so much as a permanent discorporation. A true death.

Guessing he's been too quiet and thinking too much, Aziraphale says, "I have no regrets, Crowley."

Of course Crowley was steadily ignoring his own bile of feelings at the entire thing, no matter how much they welled up. Always the uncaring posturing demon, he had a reputation after all.

Still, he's silent for a long moment, only puffing away on the cigarette he'd produced. After all humans did it, or so he'd been told, anyway. "Good." He offered gently, his tone gentler then normal.

	"Do you?" It's a question that just leaps out of his mouth. Aziraphale isn't sure if he wants to know the answer to it. He has little twinges of hope that maybe it's the same as his own answer in regards to it all. Maybe Crowley would share that he feels uneasy about it. "Why would I?" It was Aziraphale, after all. He might have....greatly enjoyed being with the angel in anyway he could and this was just...nice as well, honestly. Enjoyable. Not that he'd say that aloud, it would leave a vile taste in his mouth he reckoned.

Instead, he held out the cigarette that was still smoldering. "You're supposed to smoke these, after. Or at least thats what I've heard. Never understood why, honestly."

	That's a good question that Aziraphale is finding it hard to find a reason for. "Maybe...because I'm an angel?" No, that wouldn't make sense. If anything, he probably would find some little joy in the angel doing something so against his nature. Wrinkling his nose, the angel turns his head to look away. "It smells horrible, Crowley. "Don't know what that has to do anything."He offered with a quirk of an eyebrow. The other hadn't done anything awful to him, technically, and Crowley still liked him just the same angel or not. So a curious roll around the human way could have just been chalked up to curiosity. Temptation. Whatever the stuffed up nobodies upstairs would say, really.

His reaction, however, was to chuckle as he took another small puff before making it disappear. "Suit yourself, Angel." He teased, smirking.

It took a lot of mental hurdles to get to here. Reminding himself Gamora was gone, that it was okay, that maybe something happening would be okay even if it meant something more stable and monogamous. Oh, and that Noel wouldn't just end up getting killed by his father or something epically awful like that.

But this was comfortable - whatever it was. And that was a nice feeling that Peter couldn't ignore. He also needs a moment and spends it making a big exhale and muttered 'whew'.

Whatever it is probably doesn't need a label or explanation. Not right away, at least. If they get to a point where they want to have that discussion, they will. It's something they can worry about later.

He pokes at Peter once more before letting out a soft laugh and scooting just a little closer. "Sorry. Just making sure you aren't going to vanish." He says before working up the courage to ask about cuddles. It was funny how that seemed over the line considering what had just happened. "So... can we cuddle or is that too much?"

Noel's laugh breaks the silence and Peter really appreciates it. "Oh man," he laughs. "Where am I going to go right now? Like, nowhere. That's it. Unmoving force for now." The question about cuddling he doesn't even answer, just shifted up enough to scoot and get his arms around the other. They'll have to fight over who will be the smaller spoon, he'd bet.

"No, it's good. I'm for it. Life's different because years ago I would have found the idea so funny."

It's a good enough, Peter enough answer that it dissolves any lingering fear or tension that had stubbornly refused to let go. Noel relaxes as Peter scoots closer, gleefully settling in his arms and nuzzling at his cheek. They probably will argue over who gets to be the little spoon but it'll work out. They're both easy going enough that an argument like that won't hurt anything.

"I think I would've run from it." He admits. "Probably wouldn't be asking about it."

	There is absolutely no reason for that statement to make him happy but it does. Maybe it's just because of the situation or the fact that Peter, in general, is always able to get a smile out of him but he's ridiculously happy at the moment. "You, too." He murmurs.
