"That's a rather big maybe with the way our luck's been lately. I'm sort of keeping my fingers crossed though since I'm pretty sure that's eventually going to change. I'm sort of hoping it'd be on something a bit better than an unwanted conversation or two." He forced himself to simply stop thinking about that for now, instead focusing on their conversation. He could always sort himself out later.
"I know, right? And here I thought being trapped here would make my life extremely dull. Maybe you're that streak of good luck in my case....which in turn is terrible as it's bad luck for you.", he shrugged as he ran his fingers through his hair, unable to help but smile a bit at the nudge. "I really wish we could do that. I think I'd give anything to be able to see something other than the walls of the estate, don't you?"
The music was a bit sobering, the soft notes seeming to make his chest ache just a bit. "What kind of stories?", he asked softly, his fingers tapping lightly against his leg. "I used to know a lot myself, but I hardly think I can remember any anymore..."
