"Bah, neither have I. Maybe we'll be lucky and he'll only rant about it to other traders." Clopin had a way of weaseling past people's defenses and making them get close. Perhaps that was why. Or maybe there was another reason.
"Lucky me. And lucky you, for having someone keep your life exciting." Clopin could deal with doting. He knew it helped his friend to have someone else to worry about, and he didn't mind playing the role. He flashed another fond smile, nudging the Time Lord gently with his shoulder. "Good on you. Sitting around wasn't much of a hobby of mine either, but it's not as if we can climb onto the roof and walk around town, now can we?"
