Bruce didn't know where he was, all he knew was that he had been captured and drugged before he could transform into the Hulk. Now he was strapped to a table in his cell and fed more medicine through a line into his arm to keep him docile and half asleep all the time.
At times, he was clear enough to turn his head and look at the cells on his left and right. Seems he wasn't the only one captured.
