It was really too bad, Daniel thought, that he was mediocre at best at wandless magic. There were a couple of choice things he'd like to do to Leon Shaw for this...stunt. That was probably the best way to put it.
But he was only mediocre at it, so his jaw clenched as he adjusted his glasses. "So kind of you," he said. "I'm sure I'll never be able to repay you sufficiently." Insufficiently, though?
He could probably manage a few things. Eventually.
"Are we done here," he said, "or are you going to break my glasses to complete the day?"
