Marcus had been up early, never one to sleep in past seven o'clock at the latest. He'd left Dan sprawled in their bed and gone about his morning routine before leaving a note that said he was at Adrian's and would be back later. A part of him wondered if he should have invited Dan to brunch, but the larger part of him hadn't want to. He wasn't in the mood to deal with Dan and Adrian sniping at each other. And if he was honest, he needed some time away from Dan as well. Hopefully when he got back, the dirty clothes and dishes would be gone.
He looked up as Adrian entered and grinned slightly. "Floot just thinks I can't feed myself now that I'm not living under his supervision." It wasn't far from the truth. Neither he nor Dan were chefs, and they subsisted on takeout and dinners from Dan's mother. As he wasn't about to try to learn how to cook anything more than bacon and eggs, he didn't see that changing any time soon.
"I hope there's Scotch to go along with it." It was never too early for Scotch in his opinion. "After the weekend I've had, I need it."
