RP: Lucy and Terry Who: Lucy and Terry Where: Ollivander's When: Sunday 29th September, 10am Summary: Lucy makes sure Terry's alright
Lucy hadn't slept much. After Theo left, she'd owled Dan reassuring him she was okay and receiving a much appreciated reply that he was the same. She'd eaten a little and kept herself awake doing sudokus and crossword puzzles. It wasn't until after midnight that she'd decided she was probably safe to get a little sleep.
If only it had been that easy. As soon as she closed her eyes, images from her day raced through her mind in disordered fragments. The only way to stop them was to focus on the problem of what on earth she was going to do now - but that topic was no more restful. It was early morning when something she'd seen finally clicked into place. Ollivander's. She'd walked past it on her way home, too dazed to really understand what she was seeing. Now, though... It had been a mess. And she knew only too well that Terry worked Saturdays. That put an end to any attempt to sleep.
She got up, but it was too early to think of checking on him, much as she might want to. She'd sent Eli to Liverpool, just wanting any comforting word from her family, so all she could do was wait - and draft a resignation letter for Theo, in case she decided she needed it. She managed to keep herself occupied until nearly ten before heading to Terry's house - but there was no one there. A sick, anxious feeling in her stomach she made her way to the High Street in case he was helping repair the chaos.
Just past the Ministry Headquarters, she saw him. "Terry!" She ran towards him, ready to throw herself at him. She caught herself just before she flung her arms around his neck. He looked fine, but he might still be injured and the last thing she wanted was to hurt him. "Are you okay?"
