She was very agitate now, her mind completely on the little children herself completely forgotten. To her she was healthy, had always been healthy, and this was just some sort of fluke that would pass from her becoming a Queen, the added pressure, and responsibility, once she got used to it all it would all go away. However, these little ones had been through things she could not even imagine, and probably would never experience herself. They needed her, ill or not, they needed her.
The fact that she was beginning to feel like she was being lied to by her own people, was also making her wonder just how honest the elders, and the higher up people in Rohan were. She had never dealt with the healers here, and, or the Midwives. She had tried to keep her illness to herself as the fact that the elders knew about it was bad enough, but to have the thought that all her people would think she were weak too made her cringe. In her mind she was strong, so to have others look on her as weak, even Eomer was driving her slowly crazy.
Lothiriel looked up at Eomer her tired sad eyes coming back, as she was thinking that Eomer too was losing respect for her, and thinking her weak, and not strong enough to even take care of these little ones. "No... I can do it." She said, with a firmer voice then she really had. "I am not weak, I am just a little sick with all the new things that marriage, being a Queen, and having new responsibilities is putting on me, it will pass. I am tired of lying about looking like the Queen that can't do anything." The frustration that she was always in was starting to show in her voice, fact and eyes. Not really anger, but her eyes did look sad in a more desperate frustrated way. She never wanted Eomer to think she couldn't do anything, and to think that he was thinking her weak like the elders was about to make her scream. "Please not you too..." she mumbled out her head bowing in front of him, her hands still playing with one of the boys hands.
It was at the moment that Theodrake came with the medicinal herbs and a pot of warm water. She then completely seeming to ignore Eomer's request of her not to started seeping the herbs in the warm water, and then waiting, getting blankets for all the babes extra, and then instructing those in the room to make up cots on the floor for both the King and Queen as they would sleep in here, on the floor while the children had the beds. She did this fast, and efficiently, in control for once, it felt good, making herself useful for something positive, and not being possibly manipulated to do things she didn't want to for the negative with her King.
When she was finished with all that she went back to the warm water, warm because she didn't know how aware the two little boys were gong to be when she asked them to drink so didn't want them to burn their mouths and throats. "Little ones, you must wake, just for a bit, I need to give you drink. Please..." She raised the first ones head. She opened his eyes briefly and mumbled out, "mama?" Instead of saying no, she said, "Yes baby, drink, I need to make you better." She didn't call herself mum to them, but she didn't correct them when they called her such. She figured it would be easier to get them to do what she wanted at this point if they believed it was their mother. The little boy took little sips of the liquid, and then she did the same with the other who seemed to do anything the other one did, so wasn't much trouble.
