Lothiriel was, just as Eomer had thought when he went out to do this mission, very distressed by what Eomer was telling her about the children. It made her more motherly extinct come forward as she tried to move toward where they were going that much more faster. "We must hurry. I must see these little ones, try to help them. They are so small they shouldn't have been alone. OOOO EOMER!!! I am so proud of you that you brought him here." And before he opened the door to the room he had stopped at she leaned up and kissed him lightly on the cheek. Any worry about anything of what she had been told from the vile Counselors gone from her head. Even if the twins, or any of the children acted like he could have been more it would have been ignored. Such was she so touched by what Eomer had told her of their plight, she would believe Eomer over anyone, as he had never lied to her before, and if he had she had never found out of it.
When he opened the door, what she saw made tears came to her eyes as the frightened obviously traumatized young girl no older then she had been when she had come here the first time. When she wrapped her little arms around his legs, a tiny smile came to her lips even though her eyes shone with unshed tears as she remembered a little girl doing the same thing to a much smaller version of the man beside her. 'Yes, little one,' she thought, 'Eomer will always be a place of security.' And then she smiled up at Eomer, ignoring the look on the little girls face, for how could you blame any look, word said, in fear or anger from one who had been through so much. More they any of them knew as yet, if ever, as she didn't plan on making them talk about anything that was sad, or frightening to them if they didn't wish it, when they did start talking. "She is so cute," she said quietly to Eomer, and then stooped to the little ones size. "Hello, I know I have always felt the same way about Eomer as you are right now. "
She didn't approach the child any closer, or reach out to touch her, even though the want to was driving her crazy, but she didn't want to scare her anymore. She walked slowly to Wedia then and looked at the tiny baby not even two years old, her hand going to her mouth. She turned to the little girl, "May I hold your friend?" She figured that if she had been taking care of them it would show trust hopefully to the young girl that she did not wish to hurt him if she asked her first.
Wedia looked at her little girl, she handled things so well, she was so proud of how her little one had grown herself. IF only she knew what was making her ill, and so upset. She had been thinking long and hard about what Eomer had said, and had decided she would take him up on it, as if it could help she would do anything.
