When he took her hand and led her out of the room and down the hall. She saw the worry, and care in his face, and while she loved that he worried and cared about her, but she hated that look of feeling sorry for her. She had always hated people feeling sorry for her if something happened to her. It drove her nuts. "Please, don't look at me as if you feel sorry for me. You know how I hate that, my dear. I am sick, but I am sure nothing that can't be sorted out eventually. And it isn't one or the other group, its just any type of pressure put upon me right now. I seem to be so... I don't know.... I can't explain it really. Confused I suppose...." she said softly.
"The children may not know but the Queen knows that rumors were spread, and by whom, and frankly is embarrassed." she sighed. "But there is nothing I can do about it." She was talking freely as she always did with Eomer, and giving out more info for him to piece together if he wished. However it would still be confusing to him, as who was she talking about, and why would she not think as Queen she wouldn't have authority over anyone she wished. "Those children, were they very hurt, or mentally damaged from their ordeals?" She asked worry etched on her paler then normal features. Her mind now was totally engrossed with those poor kids, and the fact that she had for even the briefest moment actually believed the lies her people had told her. She didn't know what to do about it, but she was wondering what other things they were lying to her about. However, her mind was so confused about everything being shoved at her from any one of the groups that she hardly ever had time to really concentrate on one thing or another. They all just kept tossing things at her. The Elders going on and on about how she had to gain control of the kings mind, and make him stay more at home and not do silly stunts, and on and on along that vein. And her Counselors going on and on about all the negative things about Eomer and his people, and how she should be acting, dressing, and looking, and both groups nagging about how she could be replaced so easily.
