Wedia was much more humble this time around, and it reflected in the old woman's face. She was one that was honest, good, caring, and loving, and when she was wrong, and proven so to the extent that she had from Eomer, and one of his men that had come from dropping off some of the children that he had, had into the King's chamber, she would admit it.
"Forgive, my King, for my rudeness, impetuousness, and thinking such of you." She curtsied low, and then came back up. "If you wish I will take that babe from you, and take him to where you are housing the other poor little things. I will try to gain their trust and attend them until you can come yourself with Lottie. Again, sire, I am sorry for my bad behavior. It has been a bad week, and I can not stand when my lady is so upset as she has been lately."
She went to take the babe, as Eomer gave it to her, though he was hesitant, but had always trusted the older woman, so did so. He would more then likely do just that, check on them to make sure that Wedia was indeed being kind and caring to them.
