Fred is dead! Absolutely the worst part in the book. |

I thought George losing his ear was bad enough, but that was really painful to read. :( (Reply to this)(Parent) (Thread) |

It was! And I figured at least one Weasley had to die, and I figured it was going to be one who hadn't been injured/almost killed in the books before, but...Fred! (Reply to this)(Parent) (Thread) |

And I was so happy when it wasn't Fred who was injured but then he died and I wished that Fred could've lost his ear and George could've died instead. Not that I don't love George and all, but Fred is better in my opinion. (Reply to this)(Parent) (Thread) |

That was absolutely the worst part in ANY of the books I've read. HOW COULD SHE KILL FRED!?!?!?!? AHHHHHHH. She killed all my Favorite characters!! She's lucky Ron's not dead. Or I would have thrown the books in the bin. ALL OF THEM!. :( Not happy. Tis a sad week for all Fred+George fans. (Reply to this)(Parent) (Thread) |

I AGREE! People at school are all like 'It was a really good book!' and I'm like 'It would've been good if Fred had lived. That just ruined the whole book. Who are your other favourites? Fred was the only one who died that I was really sad about in this book, although Hedwig and Dobby were sad too. As were all the deaths, I suppose. I was too busy grieving Fred to really take much notice of the other deaths toeards the end though. Plus with Remus' death it means that the marauders were reunited. My friend thinks that he can just read DH with out reading the 4th, 5th and 6th book, because he thinks the movies will keep him up to date. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD?!?!? Tonk and Remus I was SUPER sad about, plus Hedwig(HOW CAN SHE KILL HIS BIRD!?!?) and Snappey poo. Awwwwww. I'm having a Luna Lovegood phase. I've maxed out on graphics @_@ (Reply to this)(Parent) (Thread) |

I'm sorry for your friend. Even better: my best friend's dad is going to read the seventh book without having read the others or seen the movies. >> I was so sad about Dobby. It brought up painful memories of a cat with the same name who died too soon. Although I was sad for Remus and Tonks' son, I'm glad to know he lived happily due to the epilogue. Most of my friends think the book would've been better had Harry died, but that would kill all the lovely symbolism and messagery of Harry conquering death with a pure heart and whatnot. :/ Sequels about Teddy Lupin, the werewolf who can change his fur color at a whim, pl0x. Wow. Wish your best friend's dad good luck then. He's gonna need it!! TEDDY LUPIN AND THE WRONG SHADE OF HAIR COLOUR!!! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! |

But...the sixth movie isn't even out yet! Not that reading the seventh book after seeing the movies would be a good idea to begin with, but an incomplete set of movies...yikes! Aww, Snape...he and Lily were like BFFs. It was *awesome*. I thought she was going to do Snape loving Lily and was like "pfft, lame" but she really pulled it off well! (Reply to this)(Parent) (Thread) |

That's what I said. Plus seeing as the last movie missed some important parts, he's going to be completely lost. Idiot. xD!! BFFs!! I was wondering what might of happened if Harry didn't find the pensive...DUN DUN DUUUUUUN. I thought making Voldy fly, and then Snape, was a bit much..That's crazy talk! That would be awesome. This totally negates all those MWPP RPs where Snape hated her all the time, you know. Ah JKR. |

I LOVED THE SNAPE AND LILY THING. Outside of this RPG, I tend to dabble in Marauder's Era -- Lily is one of my favorites to play, and I always make her Snape-sympathetic, and the Hogwarts Express ride before their first year is one of my favorite things to RP out, so seeing it addressed in canon was like... wonderful. I can't wait to do something with all the new stuff we've learned about Lily in this book! ...anyway. Back to thinking about Trio Era. *scurries off* |

...I did think it was really good and better than HBP, but I probably wouldn't feel the same way if one of my characters was killed. If there's an upside to Fred's death though, it was totally the way Percy reacted when he went crazy "I'm going to kill you, scum!" after the fact that he and Fred never even got along. It made me all misty eyed. OMG, poor Hedwig! That totally got to me more than Moody. And Dobby and Kreacher finally grew on me in this book - I never liked them before now. I felt bad for Teddy being orphaned, but at least his godfather will be around and I'm sure Andromeda will take better care of him than the Dursleys did. (Reply to this)(Parent) (Thread) |

I prefer HBP, it's one of my 2 favourites. Yeah, that was nice. Plus he died laughing so that was good too. It wasn't the worst way to die. I always liked Dobby but Kreacher was was great in this book! Poor Teddy! But he seemed happy enough at the end. XPP (Reply to this)(Parent) (Thread) |

:) And it wasn't long drawn out torture and I'm sure he'dv'e rather died in battle than been a coward and sat out. I totally wanted to give Kreacher a hug or something! Snogging Victoire. Ooh la, la. Randomly, I keep forgetting to post this, but I'm curious as to what would have happened to Stacey during DH, being Muggle-born and all. I'm sure she would have registered, even if she didn't agree with it, and I doubt she'd go on the run, but would they have put her in Azkaban or since she was underage (unlike Dean), if they'd just take away her wand and make her go back to the Muggle world. Cripes, Syl's dad would have ended up in Azkaban unless the family managed to flee to France first. And my muse is pissed off at the thought. (Reply to this)(Parent) (Thread) |

Right. So ther's actually a few good things in Fred's death. That makes m feel better. =) Oh, I know! He was so much better in this book than in the last books. I wanted to strangle him or something in those. =P That's a good question. If she went back to the muggle world then she might die because of all the mass muggle murders. Either way it doesn't look to good for her. Your poor characters! They're all suffering from this muggleborn rule except for Marietta. (Reply to this)(Parent) (Thread) |

::gives hug because she wants Bronte to feel better:: For serious. I didn't think she'd be able to get me to like Kreacher but she totally did. Well, I would obviously say she didn't die in the mass Muggle murders. And would Sylvie's family managed to flee in time or not. I don't care if it doesn't affect us in m_d, I really have to ponder this. ::Off to pretend CDJ to ruminate:: |

You know, it is so convenient to be modding a fifth year game this time around rather than a seventh year game. I just remember how we were in November of 7th year when HBP came out and trying to figure out what we could incorporate and what we couldn't because everything was so different than the sixth year we played out and it was just major stress. But all that we have to change for here is the Muggle studies Professor's name and we have some more information on how Ravenclaw Tower works. Yay for stress-free-ness! Overall, I liked it better than HBP, but I certainly did feel for Bronte with poor Fred! |

I felt badly for Fred, Lupin, and Tonks. They'd just had a kid, too! D: Also, Neville is a frickin' badass. Despite never playing him, I feel like that kid is close to my heart. |
