LOVE!
I have decided in the spirit of the holiday season to forgo a question of this week in favour of a love meme instead. Simply reply to this entry with your character names and people should reply to your comment and tell you what they love about your characters! Yay for spreading love and good feelings around!

Aww, yay! Susan Bones. ♥ (Reply to this) (Thread) |

I've been following your Susan a long time - since near the end of magic_life so probably going on two years now? And it's been a joy to watch her grow and change as a character and yet still remain innately Susan. I think she's probably the most fleshed out of your characters in a way - she has so many facets to her she really feels like the kind of person you could know in real life. Susan is a really well fleshed out character. I don't think I could sum her up in a few words, but she is definitely distinctively Susan. I love her relationships with the other Puff girls, especially with Megan. And I love her stubbornness and her passion. (Reply to this) (Parent) |

Susan!Megan angst. What's not to love? Your Suse is fantastic. You know I love her, even when she is being a biatch ;D (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>sunnymorag 2007-12-30 02:53 (link)
Susan is awesome!! I love how she's so nice but can also be such a bitch at times. It's so realistic because it's so ahrd to always be nice and I understand how Megan can get on her nerves even though their best friends. I have friends like that too. It really is a pity Mo and Susan aren't as good of friends as they were in MW but I'm sure we can work on that. =) So yeah, Susan's just great! (Reply to this) (Parent) |

Romilda Vane! (Reply to this) (Thread) |
</a></b></a>marietta_louise 2007-12-27 16:19 (link)
Oh Romilda. Words cannot describe how much I adore her. She brings in a refreshing 13/14 year old annoying, bullheaded but always guaranteed to be a laugh side to the game. I love her 'insults', and her freak-outs, and he wacky gossip and just how young she is and I can't wait to see the crush on Harry develop. (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>palindrome_puff 2007-12-28 13:59 (link)
Hahaha, Romilda. While my characters aren't too fond of her, I am! I love having younger characters in the game, and Romilda is an absolutely wonderful younger character. She's at that point of wanting to be mature to the extent that she's immature about it, and you portray that fabulously. (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>nutmeggy 2007-12-29 11:25 (link)
Romilda is perfect -- in the sense that she's not perfect =D I love reading Romilda's entries, they're just so alive and annoying! ;D No one does Vane like you. (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>sunnymorag 2007-12-30 02:57 (link)
Oh god I love Romilda, I was so glad you picked her up again. She's hilarious! I love how this game is set a few years before MW was because I can totally see how she becomes how she was in MW from MD. She seems to just want to be older and more mature and cooler and you show that so well. At the same time, she's still young and reasonably innocent and slightly gullible. Romilda=♥♥♥ even if Mo and Vati don't like her much (or at all). Fred doesn't mind her though. (Reply to this) (Parent) |

Draco Malfoy. (Reply to this) (Thread) |
</a></b></a>marietta_louise 2007-12-27 17:50 (link)
I know I've told you this before but I love how your Draco is the perfect mixture of a bigoted little ferret and a normal teenage boy. Like how he had his ideals and feelings about Mudbloods and all, but he can kind of sort of push them to the side for a tiny little while for a nice pair of knockers. ;p I really enjoy writing the Sylvie/Draco interactions and how they bounce off each other. (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>palindrome_puff 2007-12-28 14:02 (link)
Draco's one of those characters that I see as really hard to play well, but your Draco is just perfect. His attitude! And his sense of entitlement! And the subtle references to his wealth and his disdain for Muggles! (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>nutmeggy 2007-12-29 11:26 (link)
You play him brilliantly -- so many people leave him 2D, or 2 1/2 D, but you get the wholeness of him just right. He isn't just a Mudblood hater, he isn't just an arrogant snob, he isn't just a sore loser: he's all of those put together! Plus a bit extra you throw in that I would never have thought of. (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>sunnymorag 2007-12-30 03:07 (link)
Even if none of my characters like him, your Draco is amazing! Like Mare said, it's great how you have him able to put aside his prejudices for a snog. He's just a normal teenage boy who happens to have a lot of money and a death eater daddy so he's ended up as a stuck up, arrogant snob but underneath it all he's just a boy. Plus I love how much he abuses his power as a prefect. It's great. Oh yeah, and Fred says he'd like to punch Malfoy again. =P (Reply to this) (Parent) |

Alicia Spinnet! Is this IC love or OOC love? (Reply to this) (Thread) |
</a></b></a>marietta_louise 2007-12-27 15:12 (link)
Either/or/or both if you're so inclined. I was thinking OOC, but IC could be fun to do as well. ^^ (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>marietta_louise 2007-12-27 19:51 (link)
I'm so glad you picked up Alicia to give us another seventh year, even though you weren't certain you'd have the time. Alicia is just *fun* and it's easy to see why she's friends with Fred and George and Lee and that crew. And of course, love for the drinkers at Hogwarts! (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>v_isforvane 2007-12-29 02:06 (link)
I like how normal Alicia is - she seems like the sort of girl you might know at school - but at the same time she's got plenty of qualities that make her unique. I think that's a hard balance to achieve, but you hit it perfectly. I love how fun and gutsy she is, and her altered song lyrics are made of win. (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>nutmeggy 2007-12-29 11:28 (link)
Alicia is so fun and upbeat, it's fantastic. It's a great addition to the Gryffindor crew and the Quidditch lot we have going on =] I can't see Alicia being played any other way, TBH. (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>sunnymorag 2007-12-30 13:46 (link)
Alicia! I was so happy when you picked up Alicia; finally, Fred had some friends! He never had any friends at MW that were his own age so it was great because Fred becomes so much easier to [;ay when he has people to interact with. Alicia's so funny! I love the songs she makes up and how she'll try to trick Fred sometimes. It's just great!! (Reply to this) (Parent) |

Hannah Abbott! (Reply to this) (Thread) |
</a></b></a>marietta_louise 2007-12-27 19:53 (link)
Zomg, Hannah is too sweet for words! I love how you're playing out Hannah's inner turmoil being stuck between Susan and the DA on one side, and Meg and Lil on the other. It just sort of feels right that Hannah's the mother hen of the group, trying to keep everyone together and happy even when outside events make it impossible. (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>v_isforvane 2007-12-29 02:29 (link)
Aww, Hannah is absolutely adorable. I want to give her a big hug to say sorry for what Susan's putting her through by keeping the DA a secret from Meg and Lil. I love how you play her anxiety over exams and I can't wait till the flamingo event. Oh, and her crush on Zach is so cute! (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>sunnymorag 2007-12-30 13:50 (link)
I'm getting lazy so I think I'll just copy and paste what I said last time we did this game. XPP. I'll change it a bit though. Hannah's a cutie! I love the PB. She's just the cutest person. I love Hannah's lovingness. She even gets on really well with her sister! She's a fun character. I feel sorry for her, always trapped in the fights between Susan and Meg. That's happened to me before so I empathise with her. She's such a normal teenage girl; worrying about weight, boys, fights with friends, school etc. Now she has the whole DA thing to worry about. Poor girl, so many worries! Yet she still remains cheerful most of the time. Plus I lvoe how it was her idea to set up Jill and Chris. ♥ (Reply to this) (Parent) |

Cho Chang. Who happens to be unfortunate enough to share her initials with the Chudley Canons, ugh. (Reply to this) (Thread) |
</a></b></a>marietta_louise 2007-12-27 20:16 (link)
That's why Cho has a middle name - so she can initial herself out without making people think of the Cannons! I don't even know what to say. I haven't played with many Chos, but of all the ones I've had, she's the one that's the most perfect fit with my Marietta. I really feel like they're best friends, I can count on you to reply when Marietta needs a reply and I know it's been hodgepodge here and there, but when I look at it all this whole DA thing and Marietta's coming SNEAK seem so perfectly orchestrated. Much MUCH love for Cho. (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>v_isforvane 2007-12-29 02:36 (link)
Oh, Cho. She can be a bitch, but she's a Ravenclaw bitch, if that makes sense. I've seen lots of Chos that are all about gossiping and fashion and boys, and to me that doesn't fit with what we know of Cho from the books, so I'm glad you play her like you do. You portray her angst over Cedric and Harry wonderfully. I love how even though she's a rival Seeker for Draco, they occasionally get on in the journals because they both mock people for spelling/grammar mistakes. (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>sunnymorag 2007-12-30 13:51 (link)
Your Cho is great! I love how she'll be normal and happy then someone will say something and it won't even have to have anything to do with Cedric but she'll take it the wrong way and be upset again. I like how you play her depressed at times, but not overly so. She's believable because the way she reacted to the death is so realistic. ♥♥♥♥! I also love how she's so confused over liking Harry because it's so soon after Cedric's death. It's so much better than a Cho who just moves on. It was funny how she was a tiny bit jealous of Vati ebcause she went to the yule ball with Harry. That was awesome!!! Her and Mare are so funny together and despite all her problems and her obsession with grammar(which is so amusing) she's just a normal person who deals with her problems the way any normal person would. Stacey Fairchild! (Reply to this) (Thread) |
</a></b></a>palindrome_puff 2007-12-28 14:11 (link)
Aaah Stacey is adorable! She and Romilda are wonderful foils for each other. I love how she's reacts to everything, from mood swings to massacres. (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>v_isforvane 2007-12-29 06:54 (link)
Stacey's so sweet! I enjoy how innocent and naive she is, because she's also honest about it and she's open to learning more. That's such a contrast to Romilda, who thinks she knows everything, and it's great fun to have them interact. Stacey is also genuinely nice and caring to almost everybody, which is wonderful. (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>sunnymorag 2007-12-30 13:53 (link)
Could there be a nicer person? Stacey's great! So sweet and caring and young and intereting. A great contrast to Romilda!! She's always trying to make people happy and stop fights like with the nice survey thing. That's brilliant! Much love for Stacey! Nice people are great!!! (Reply to this) (Parent) |

Sylvie Fawcett! (Reply to this) (Thread) |
</a></b></a>palindrome_puff 2007-12-28 14:13 (link)
Haha, there is no other character out there like Sylvie. As we've all told you before, she's great at the whole classy slut thing. I love how she clearly demonstrates that she belongs in Ravenclaw, but she doesn't do it by studying or talking about classes all the time. I also love her relationship with her family and how she holds grudges -- they make her seem so much more real. (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>v_isforvane 2007-12-29 07:11 (link)
Sylvie is fantastic. Enough said. Seriously though, I love how she can be mature about some things (like knowing what she wants and being sensible about going on Potions) and immature about other things (like getting into trouble with Umbridge for not knowing when to keep her mouth shut). I also completely agree with Kat about Sylvie's (arrogant!) Ravenclaw attitude. Oh yeah, and Draco/Sylvie = OTP. ;) (Reply to this) (Parent) |
</a></b></a>sunnymorag 2007-12-30 13:56 (link)
I love Syl HEAPS because she's a best friend for Mo and that's just so much fun! She's promiscuous and a little reckless but at the same time she's organised and is careful to take the precautions to have safe sex. You can see the Ravenclaw side come through when she starts planning everything. I also like seeing how she became like she was in MW because you're showing that well here and it's great. ♥♥♥♥♥ (Reply to this) (Parent) |
