A lot of things went down in this episode, good and bad. GLEE stop playing with our emotions.
OMG BROCCOLI HEAD BLAINEY!!!!!! bwahahahaha.
I think I lolz the entire time when it came to talking about hair gel. Only cuz I realized Mike was trying to go to Blaine in the previous episode about gel advice and then to turn around and have it be banned at Prom (just NO on the theme. Dinosaurs, seriously?). I see a random thread where Blaine and Mike meet to try and discuss hair products. But I did think it was cute how Mike got all super ubber excited about the decorations and admitting he loved dinosaurs. Triceratops!
In the powers that be of Glee, they definitely suck about portraying the accuracy of a high school setting. And I know I should have said something about all of this sooner, but I was lazy. And I will try to keep this short but no guarantee but I am glad they finally set up something around Brittany and her presidency. That bothered me for the longest time, but then again character development has been all over the place for everyone. And I take it each grade has their own council and then perhaps a student cabinet complied of students from all grade levels tackling other issues? And then what about classes? Are they on a block schedule? When I was in high school, I had to attend seven classes a day -- but I know other schools go by a block schedule. And according to last season ... so there is a junior prom and a senior prom??? So confused on that one!!! [we just had one technically for the upperclassmen. King and Queen had to be seniors. and the Prom Committee was actually the junior council. Why do they make it seem like the "nerdy uncool people" run the committee or would be in council?] And maybe this wasn't fully established in our game (or I'm at my own fault for not asking sooner) but the one thing I never did quite understand about Glee -- is it a club or a class? And a club that seems to meet at random times of the day? Clubs usually met at lunch or after school based on their needs at my old high school. And certain "extracurriculars" like Yearbook or Journalism were actual classes.
I could go on and on but I think you all get the point. :P
Mike still has his random idea to throw out a prank or two, (I'm sure completely deviant from show canon) but not sure how many people are up for that. And seeing as I now have to re-structure how my characters connect with others is kinda difficult esp this late into the season and game. POR QUE?!?!?!
But let me just squeal a little over the Wemma moments. Subtle but still sweet. I SOOOO want to do a scene where Will asks Emma to the Prom, but I guess I'll just play it out in my head like every other Wemma thing going on. This whole idea of proposing...I'm just not sure anymore. I really don't know what's going on for our adult couple considering the lack of established plotting that ever meets the public eye. I feel like Emma is on indefinite hiatus until further notice, which sucks for me.
Prom anarchy! McKinley High, what are they putting in that water? lol. j/k. Prom King and Queen: high school sweethearts. (and here goes my Will anti-high school sweetheart mode j/k) And Quinn takes her first steps publicly. Oh the Quinntana friendship I've missed. ..oh yeah. And the foreshadowing for Mike and Tina. We've plotted and we'll play things out soon, so that could get interesting.
