NGL, I'm kinda pissed. Santana's whole schtick up until this point has been, have a problem, deal with it physically, with fists and claws and teeth. So the first time she grows the hell up, leaves the razor blades in her hair and actually takes the high road? Utilizes the legal system in the way it's supposed to be used? Gathers proof of Sebastian's crime in a mature and frankly inspired way? Kurt shuts her down.
I mean her whole scheme plays into my idea of her future, becoming a lawyer and being involved with the legal system. I was so proud of her for the way she was thinking. But to have it shut down, that pissed me off, because it feels like a precursor to a return to form, and I wanted SO badly to think she'd evolved beyond that.
Bottom line is, what Sebastian did was a crime. Whether it was intended for Blaine or for Kurt, the fact remains that it was premeditated assault. He had prepared that slushy ahead of time, it was in that paper bag the whole time. If you wanna get really nitpicky, even just the slushy is assault, but deliberately putting rock salt in it? I cannot believe that Kurt is just going to lie down and take his man being assaulted and potentially blinded.
And the Warblers just back away and let Blaine scream it out? They don't check if he's okay? Call 911? HELP HIM? These guys were his friends until a very short while ago. What the hell is wrong with them? The creators and writers need a swift reality check.
