I think Election Day technically should've been the Tuesday after the first Monday in November in the Real World -- although I'm not sure about emergency run-off elections. But Glee tends to just outright ignore the Real World a lot of the time, especially when it comes to the election plotline, *lol* (Just ask politics-major!Rebecca -- I'm pretty sure it gave her hives, XD)
I usually take notes scene-by-scene as I'm watching, and then insert 'day breaks' where they make the most sense (like after Beiste catches Cooter and Sue at Breadstix, for example, since that would be the end of that day), and then struggle to make a coherent timeline out of that, heh. Glee actually ignores stuff like this a LOT, *headdesk*
