Angelina looked how Katie felt, Katie did manage a soft sad smile though when she saw Angelina. Katie didn't know how she managed it, or where it came from, but for some reason when she saw that some of her friends were still there. That actually really meant something to do her. It was strange but it was one of those things that still didn't feel real. Katie didn't know how things were supposed to feel real or normal anymore. Hopefully with time they'd get better.
She reached into her bag and pulled out the bottle. "I know it's early, but my Dad wouldn't let me work anymore, so I stole a bottle and thought I could come over here. I didn't feel like drinking alone." Katie said holding the bottle up. It was a good bottle of course, and Katie didn't really 'steal it' her father let her take whatever she wanted whenever she wanted anyways. It wasn't like it was a big deal. Besides, Katie really didn't want to drink alone. She could have sat at one of the pubs, but she wanted to see Angelina.
It was really hard for her to know what to do, although she knew perfectly well that no one really know what to do sometimes. Those that had really lost people close to them, it was hard to just 'move on.' It wasn't something that happened over night, and Katie didn't expect anyone to, even herself. She knew how long it took her to get move forward from nearly dying last year, now it was all over but a lot harder.
