For a moment as she took s sip of her beer, Angelina had been worried that he would decline and then they'd be stuck there in the awkward silence of people who got along well when they had something to talk about but didn't know each other well enough to be comfortable with the silence, too.
"Heard something about that, yeah," she answered. Of course, she hadn't honestly paid that much attention, but she wasn't stupid; she'd put two and two together eventually. She raised an eyebrow as he continued, of course. She didn't think that even her part in the journal blow up could explain just how much she didn't like Edgecombe. In fact, she was pretty sure there were Death Eaters she could understand more. She just didn't take well to people who were traitors. You stood for what you stood for, and that was it. No wibbling, no playing both sides. No doing one thing and then looking for sympathy, understanding or forgiveness. Angelina may have been lucky enough that her mother hadn't been one of the Muggleborns imprisoned, but that didn't mean she didn't understand or couldn't imagine how it might have felt.
"Once a sneak, always a sneak, I'd say," Angelina replied, not even pretending that she didn't have a biased opinion on Marietta Edgecombe. "Nothing would have made me happier than if Minister Shacklebolt had let her rot in Azkaban with everyone else like her."
