Teenager found mutilated in mutant-populated North Salem, New York
The mysterious mutant 'codenamed' Wolverine was spotted at the scene of the crime late Monday night into early Tuesday morning, reports say. The nature of his so-called 'mutation' is that of metallic blades that come out from between his fingers - three on each hand. The victim, to remain nameless until further investigation, suffered from multiple stab wounds and several lacerations all over her body - all in sets of three.
Wolverine, also called Logan, is denying his presence at the North by Northwest nightclub, as well as his guilt. He is a professor at the local Westchester school for mutants called Xavier's Institute, which itself has been cause for public upset within recent years. (Continued on A4)
