Logan - After much personal resistance, I've grown to love the idea of Wolverine (re-)starting a mutant school. So that's what I want him to do. Since we already moved the mutants to the city that seems like a logical place for the Jean Grey School to be located - specifically where Tony's several-city-block-Avengers-Mansion was. Hopefully, Kitty and Hank can be around to be his co-heads, as in the comic, because he has serious doubts about whether he can make this work. >_>
Captain 'Merica - Steve's back in New York after the events of AoU mostly trying to make his new Avengers/Shield hybrid work. Unfortunately, the summer months were a breeding ground for anti-mutant hysteria in the city - making Cap's chief concern preventing any hate group (human or mutant) setting off an all out race war across the city. Gangs of New York people! He's also roomies with Eva Silvercloud, because that's just what you do when you get the chance.
Ronananan - Much like Fassbender, Mars is just mostly doing sex things at you. Okay, for realz - He founded S.P.E.A.R. because even before he knew S.H.I.E.L.D. was chock full of Hydra, he was having none of their bullshit. He's deaf, but gets by just fine. He's also always hiring and currently trying to figure out who spent all summer framing mutants for things they didn't do. Except Sabretooth, he's always fucking guilty. Also, he's decided the Murphy's are the Weasley's and must all live together in a magically, whimsical New York penthouse because the Murphy's need each other... theys like livin' chancy.
Conlan and Lochlan - they live in the Murphy and group home and cause trouble when ever possible.
Piotr - He's mostly worried about Brian and Troy. Really, that's it. And will follow them where ever they need him too. <3 And Kurt. He needs Kurt.
Dr. Peter Corbeau - He roomed with Bruce Banner in college and has Xavier over on the weekends to play shuffleboard on his boat. He's astronaut/scientist Dr. Peter Corbeau, and he's smarter than you - but he won't tell you that because he's too damn nice. He's around to help the X-Men and Avengers 'do science at things' and fly them to space whenever they need to go stop sentinels or pick up a hitchhiking cosmic force.
Rachel Summers - She's going to pop into this reality soon and a immediately have feelz. Rachel is the daughter of a different universe's Scott and Jean - and because she's a Summers kid was raised in a dystopian future in a mutant concentration camp and brainwashed to hunt down other mutants. Basically, she's the last survivor from her time - sent back by Kat Pryde and Franklin Richards (who she loved), only to realize that she'd actually slipped into a whole different universe. She'll get better, especially if Excalibur happens.
Angel - He's adventuring and missing the old days when it was just the original five and they had fun. He's also funding the construction of the New Xavier's school in Westchester.
Charles - He's mostly in Scotland with Moria doing mutant science stuff because somebody broke his home in America. Look for his return if the Phoenix makes an appearance, because damn.
Clint - Okay, honestly Clint is doing his best Captain Kirk impression on the helicarrier because Steve doesn't completely trust Fury. Also Clint is totally up to mentor a Kate Bishop. Just sayin'.
The Hellfire Club - We need them - I will play all of them if need be. 'Cept Emma.
Sinister - Spoiler: He's the one making mutants look bad. Mostly to keep the X-Men busy while he figures out how to have Scott and Jean have Cable. Plus he's a chaos gamer.
