Re: Things Are Gonna Get Weird
"His parents weren't twins..." He informed the empty air. "Yes, that would've been... unfortunate." Brian's annoyance brought a smile to Jack's face, but not of malice or hatred. Being able to push the Brit's buttons filled Nomad with pride. "Why? You're an adventurer..." Anger and frustration in Brian quickly turned to pity. Cas loved Brian's capacity to care. His ability to put his own feelings aside and focus on his patients. But Jack wasn't his patient and he didn't need his sympathy. "Touchy? Touchy. Okay." He spun around, and planted his finger firmly in the taller man's chest. "Examine the irony. You came here to escape... what was it? The tomb Braddock Manor had become? Yet you prattle around the lower levels... alone. Then you push me away?" Cas moved from Brian once more and did a complete three hundred and sixty degree turn to find the door - but didn't exit. Instead he spoke to the door. "Another hint... but only summer-sky-blue-eyed Brian is going to understand this. The doctor says: It's twins - then asks if you've picked out names." His tone was quieter now, he wanted to leave again, run once more. But he didn't have it in him. He whispered to himself. "Am I crazy?"
