Re: Things Are Gonna Get Weird
Oh good God. Brian distractedly looked at the clock as if Cassidy was possibly right (which of course he wasn't - how could he be?), then he sighed inwardly at the mention of riddles. Yes. This man was definitely becoming his Gollum. "I usually do as well..." Brian commented, though he doubted Jack heard him. He listened carefully, pensively, and then tensed at the mention of his parents. Had they been alive in Jack's universe? His hand raised to his lips to he wouldn't speak prematurely, and he kept the other tucked in his underarm as Nomad went on. He ignored the mallet query. "What are they?" He said, then furrowed his brow after the Tolkien reference. The brothers of Arwen; twins. "They're twins. My parents weren't twins," he assured, almost annoyed. The Brit's nostrils flared and he clenched his jaw, feeling suddenly frustrated; invaded. "Listen, Jack, I don't care for these mysterious, surprise visits, or your holding information from me. If you don't want to tell me, then why do you keep popping up and-" he stopped.
Brian lowered his arms to his sides. "I'm sorry. I know you lost your family along the way to this place. I'm just a bit touchy about my own, is all. Do you have any other clues? Half as much as my parents? So, my uncle?" He smirked.
