Ooof! His own shoes screeched against the glossy floor tiles as he stopped abruptly at the sound of the increasingly-familiar voice of Jack Cassidy. "A few," the doctor admitted about his purchases, then his expression lessened from sour to mildly annoyed. The other man was puttering about in the doctors' things, but Brian held his tongue on the matter. "You didn't have an appointment - and I take it this isn't a medical emergency..." His eyes flashed with a hint of a smile. "Just here for a chat?" The Brit raised his eyebrows, then gave a somewhat sympathetic look. "I hope you find my muchness is up to a reasonable level today..." he dared, standing straight. He put his chart down on the counter near the exam table and crossed his arms. "You still never said what I was to you; in your universe."
