Re: You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch
"Not in the slightest." Cas answered, unable to mask his disdain for the blond man - both before and after the flask had been retrieved. "I... do not fancy a taste." He expelled a heavy, world-weary sigh through is nose, then looked directly into the Brit's familiar eyes. "You're not the same as you were before... You were much more muchier..." His shoes slid off the surface of the desk and produced a thud from the floor. "I don't know what I was thinking. You've lost your muchness." Cas stood, side stepped Brian and strode to the door. His hand reached for the handle, then something... the memory of those eyes, stayed his fingers. Cas spun on his heels and faced Captain Britain once again. "Trust me, loneliness will drive a man mad." He offered, cautiously. "Not to mention, you examine pictures of the past and search for answers, struggle under the weight of the responsibilities thrust upon your shoulders, and wonder if you made the right choice that night... the first time he appeared to you." Cas inhaled sharply, a subconscious measure to stiffen his resolve. "For whatever it's worth... you did. Make the right choice, that is."
