Re: Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree
Face full of Kellan - that's what she got. The toddler had been wily enough to slip his pen, just as Zap had reached the door. And being two, he loved to answer the bell. Kellan's outstretched limbs greeted Eva, along with Ronan's chuckle at the (physically) awkward exchange. "Come on." He gestured with his head, and moved back out of the doorway. When she'd crossed the threshold, Ronan's muscles tensed. Through-out the night he'd convinced himself this was a dream and once she'd entered, Eva would disappear. But there she was Zap, in all her glory. Mars swung the door shut, then lowered Kellan onto the floor - then just stared. "Hey. Ye look great." His face was pleasant, more pleasant than it had been in weeks. "I set the table." He pointed to the dining room, where he'd arranged three place settings. If Lydian awoke during breakfast, she was on her own.
