Re: I'm no savior, kid.
Russ stood from the table next to the one Hemlock was making amends(?) toward Omen at. "I'll just finish this in my office, which is where I'll be..." If they wanted to talk. He collected his book and went for the doors Troy had just kicked open. "Maybe don't do that when Rhia is around." He added upon his exit, then used his suit to wipe Troy's footprint from the door.
Boom baby. That's the image that flashed into Will's head the moment before the library doors burst forth. Made sense, he thought, with a smile after his muscles relaxed. Troy was here and he was being that special kind of adorable that only Troy could be or get away with. He reached and through a laugh grabbed the expertly wrapped gift, and gave it a squeeze. Will basically ignored Russ, not out of impoliteness, but because he assumed that's what the empath wanted. And was glad that he'd left so easily - others would not have.
"Thank you, Troy. I can?" He asked sheepishly, curiosity about the gift was honestly the least of what he was excited about - but he did feel it would be rude not to open something Troy had clearly spent time on. Without destroying the paper, Will opened the gift and could not hide his excitement. Sweater! Star Wars! He quickly stood, pulled the garment over his head and put the new sweater on over his polo. "I love it!" Will spread his arms out wide to expose Troy to the nerdy and only closed his arms when he wrapped Troy in a large hug - Hemlock's folded arms and all. The tips of their noses touched, Will looked right into Troy's much darker eyes. "I as-well-and-also miss you like crazy." He smiled, held Troy, and for once didn't care if rogue vines were encroaching on him.
