"Meggan?" the Brit called. He knocked again and heard her television volume lessen. He smirked. "Meggan, may I come in?" She had a whole slew of things on her to-do list, but the little sprite seemed to always make room for TV. But they all had their vices, didn't they? He began rolling up his sleeves as he waited, imagining she might be tidying or dressing fully or simply have gotten distracted again. Any scenario seemed to have brought out a smirk on his broad features. He hadn't spoken to the blonde girl since the day before, and with the American holiday on the horizon, he wanted to check in with her and see how she was handling all the commotion. Students were coming and going, and teachers were assigning large work loads for the break, and there was the holiday itself to think of, which was largely focused around family - something that was a touchy subject for both Meggan and her rescuer.
