While they spent a few moments sniffing out each others' pheromones like wild dogs, Eva's mutation was forming a hurricane's eye in the pit of her stomach. She rubbed her jaw against Ronan's, lips just barely missing a brush-up with his, and then he pulled back to look into her eyes. His were... so, so stunning - truly. In all senses of the word. He was just... gorgeous. His words were still ringing in her ears while she watched his lips and thought of how they felt against her thighs. Her breathing had gone heavy. "...I wouldn't stay away..." Her hands clinched into fists and she swallowed, steadying her facial features to continue looking even and... hinged. She watched him as he spoke, waiting for her cue.
"I want you... I refuse to share... Why did you marry him if you still wanted me?"
Her hands raised to his chest and she gave Mars a shove and jolt so forceful that he fell backwards and landed on his back. Before he began to recover, she fell forward onto all fours around him, pinning the mutant-seeker to the Danger Room floor. "That's why." She was dangerous, predatory, insatiable, and frankly out of her right mind when she was with Ronan. She looked down into his face and her hair fell around them, forming a curtain of privacy with the smell of pomegranates.
"I can't control myself when I'm around you. I can't. I've tried. As soon as I set eyes on you last year, I've been insane with... whatever this is," another arc of energy between them, then a few pops of static through her hair. The work lights dimmed down to almost nothing at all, then. She lowered herself slightly, so that her breasts touched Ronan's chest, but no other parts of them were connected. "I was afraid I'd self-destruct if I kept letting us tear each other apart. I wanted it... I still do. I thought I'd be safe..." Her breathing was ragged again, "with my daughter - with her father; my friend, an ally..." Eva's eyes were welled with tears by this point, mostly from frustration, but also a bit of guilt.
"I love my family..." Zap panted, "but I need you." More than physically. More than sexually. More than for companionship. They had a connection that went beyond what a relationship meant to her, or anyone she'd heard of. She slapped him. Her nostrils flared and she slapped him again, right across the cheek, then her body lowered so it was pressing into Ronan's messy suit jacket and the weight of her met with the warmth of him, fully. "I just wanted to be in control..." she shuddered, voice low, eyes shut.
