"Hush," she commanded, jovially, as she finished the order and paid. "They'll come. I wouldn't have moved any of my things over here if they didn't come." Eva's grin was wide and honest as he began kissing her head and wrapping her up in his custom-fit sweater. "What are we musing?" Zap wondered, eyebrows raised and hands idly stroking Warren's feathers where they'd landed over his shoulders during their embrace. "Another Thanksgiving enduring my father at the table? Or maybe that this is our first Thanksgiving as a married couple?" She smirked and pulled her hands back over his shoulders to grab his collar and yank her seraph in for a kiss. "You smell like books." Her nose crinkled and she mentally checked her phone when it vibrated with a text, then turned off the alerts completely. "I wonder if the books get jealous when they smell me on you."
