Re: circumlocution | 7-30-2020 | Late Evening
Eric was surprised to discover that Eva's uncertainty was incredibly refreshing to the man. A cool drink of "how the hell should I know" in a place filled with people who never stopped searching for answers - which included himself. Had Eva swung in on her big dick with a perfect plan to date Eric and Nate, the blond man would have been extremely skeptical. However, Eric could hear the sincerity in her voice and the light in her eyes when she mentioned her affection for him. "You love both of us enough to risk that?" Eric asked as his hands followed Eva's into her lap. His fingers entangled themselves in and around Eva's hands and tights while he took a proper measure of the woman he loved so deeply. "If you were a person lacking in character, I might assume you just didn't have the conviction to choose or the stomach to hurt one of us," he told her with an even but pleasant disposition. "But you are the most righteous and moral person I have ever known, Evangeline." He believed she was being honest, which made it his duty to respond in kind. "I'm completely in love with you, and I am so attracted to you, I can hardly control myself when I'm near you," he told her what she already knew, whether or not she had noticed the unimportant half-bulge in his jeans. "I can't promise I'm fully capable of what you're asking, but I'm capable of trying and keeping an open mind," he said with a smile. "And it's just dating, you know? Dating - nothing serious," Eric mimicked what he'd witnessed at least a dozen students say to their parents on days the ladder had come to visit.
