Pawky | 7-28-2020 | Evening She and Nate had been gathering research separately since their last encounter together with the journal of her ancestor. Zap had given Gael Murphy a book of Nate's then settled into the spot where she assumed he'd been reading as well. Their notes (and the journal itself) wove a story that made Eva feel proud and yet very uneasy. There were so many variables - including the potential animal symbolism that represented her brothers (she assumed). This belief was fortified upon noting Raven's brother's nickname, according to Nate. She knew enough Cheyenne to know 'bear' when she saw it. A bear had appeared to Jimmy when he raged out in grief after his family had died. He believed it granted him the strength of spirit he needed to, ya know, do revenge murders. 'The wolf and the ram', a reference not from the journal, but spoken directly into Eva's ear. Her son? An Aries? Logan or Troy, or? Yarn and pins, indeed. Nate needed more information, but she recognized her own need to dive deeper on a few topics...
Other items of note: alchemy, adversarial coyotes, and a weeks-long journey Raven took alongside a relative of Nathaniel's.
