Re: Feel This Moment
It satisfied Lorna to hear Kitty, a fellow non-glamazon, complement her style, whereas her other utterance, "They're hot", formed unexpected butterflies in her core. This forced Polaris to dispatch an inner persona armed with a butterfly net to insure she didn’t accidentally destroy Kitty’s lamp.
Lorna clapped when Kitty disappeared, Shadowcat's underwhelmed tone used to defuse Lorna's expectations failed. She had a laugh at the shoes (that flew!), then covered her mouth when she spied the entire outfit. "It's adorable." Lorna said with a mixture of jealousy and awe. She stood from the bed, immediately approached Kitty, and ran her fingers along the lace pocket of the shirt. "I love this pocket." She smiled and grabbed onto the physicist's hands to place the shirt and skirt in the appropriate places on Kitty's body. Lorna leaned back in order to see the entire thing, impressed that she'd somehow matched a flat gray in all three items and it wasn't boring as hell. "You should part your hair." She shared, then without permission had begun to manipulate Kitty's hair to articulate her position. "On one side, and let this bit swoop above your eye." She demonstrated, and then nodded her head in the direction of Kitty's mirror. "See." Lorna did; Shadowcat looked gorgeous - and then Polaris noticed herself. Her normally green head of hair had begun to transition to a shade of red, almost pink. Most people she could lie, but Kitty knew her about as well as anyone - red meant anger, hunger, love, or passion. Lorna's face soon matched her hair and the little Lorna with the butterfly net had to step into over drive. "You look amazing." She added quietly.
