Re: Dishabile
Eva's eyelids slowly but steadily drooped to a halfway point that hopefully womansplained that Nate was mansplaining. She hadn't rapid-fired two of the deity's grandchildren and heirs just to sit back and hope they'd be fine. Her lips parted to start a tirade but Thor commented and she slowly turned her head to look at him instead.
Nate's expression, she learned upon her gaze's return to his face, had changed. They all needed to get on the same page. At least the right chapter. "More hands make less work," Eva quoted her father. She pulled at the belly of her shirt a few times to increase air flow and took another pass at her arms with Thor's towel. "I know what's at risk - if it's used incorrectly, and if it isn't used at all. I also know that the power I inherited lasted eighteen months in my body before I used it to alter reality, realm-wide." As she continued, Zap's focused shifted between the two men. "I think if it was divided between his blood," Odin's, that was, "that it would be better suited for our current arrangement." Their rule was in a unique position that hadn't occurred in Asgard in hundreds of years. There was a full family. "It worked for the X-Men." She smirked, but with sincerity. Obviously it worked for the Avengers, but she was biased.
A large, pristine copper tub appeared magically behind her just as she began removing her t-shirt and stepping out of her coveralls. "Shut down the forge," she suggested to Thor, with a bit of sympathy and remorse. Their bodies and brains were clearly done working for the day. Or at least bodies. Once she was nude, into the tub. The steamy water was littered with spices that were meant to both soothe and reenergize her skin and senses. Zap shut her eyes and slipped beneath the water, mind racing with questions - mostly questions about how best to find answers. How did the 'god-kings' know what paths to take in these scenarios? The leaders of the old pantheons. Because she, Thor and Nate were just knocking their heads together. There were too many variables when the Celestials were in the equation. Glub, glub.
