Re: Dishabile
"He'd be one of the most powerful beings in the universe," Nathaniel answered. "Capable of all the great and terrible things Odin accomplished... and he'd be able to wield Odin's spear." The spear wasn't essential; Nate just liked it.
"And the ravens," Thor said and gestured to his shoulder. "They just fly around all the time, land on you. It's off-putting." Another sigh from the All-Father, who then placed his hands on his hips. "You know my objections. One person shouldn't have that much power. My father was responsible for so much destruction and death. No person is incorruptible." Thor's weight shifted uncomfortably. "Also, we'd have to pick a new God of Thunder, and I just don't know who can handle that pressure."
Nathaniel had thoughts, arguments even. Fortunately, this much time with Eva had given the wizard a fair amount of tact in these types of situations. "We don't have to decide anything today," Nate looked to Eva for an ally. They couldn't have Thor reject this option entirely. It was going to talk a softer touch than Nate had even considered.
