A shirtless king played blacksmith for the gods and pounded Asgardian metal into shape with his hammer. Each strike brought lightning streaking across the sky and caused thunder to echo from the mountaintop forge. After he examined the latest curved piece at the end of his clamps, he dunked the molten fragment into water. Once it had cooled down, he threw the metal onto a heap of previously crafted parts, each one meticulously designed by his wife. The finished product would be a new piece of technology designed to protect their sprawling kingdom. Made from a combination of Asgardian materials, magic, and cybernetic knowledge.
Thor sensed Eva's presence as her workbench was situated on the other side of the forge. He was sure she was wholly engrossed in constructing the colossal Celestial repellent devices, even with Nathaniel's shadowy form nearby.
Thor confidently set aside his blacksmithing tools and wiped the sweat from his forehead with his discarded cotton shirt. He then strode away from the roaring fire and proudly presented Eva with another cart of exquisitely crafted metal. "Here's more material for the mother of invention," he declared boldly. The previous cart he had brought was already emptied by Eva's insatiable creativity. "She's always hungry for more," observed the king with an appreciative grin.
