Thankfully, Nathaniel decided he'd finally gotten through to Eva and before the interaction had become anymore precarious. Even she'd resisted much longer Nate felt as though his newfound moral imperative would have had him showing her Richard and Karen's vacation slides until she understood his point of view. Nathaniel understood, the universe could stop. Eva was his new assignment, he just didn't know why... yet.
"People only lock up what their afraid of getting out," Nathaniel stated the obvious. "Fair point," he said of the Harry Potter reference. "I'll take you to Diagon Alley myself to make amends," he said in return but then she was touching him. The connection sparked in her office and strengthened downstairs left Nate with a warmth in his skin. Though, he wondered if there wasn't more to it...
"Dinner?" His shock was clear in his tone. "Meet your father?" The antisocial mutant again appeared bewildered. "Very well, I find your terms agreeable," Nathaniel stated as though he'd been speaking from the power position. He understood, he had not. "Key people, I'd like to meet," Nate added, still riding the rush of their argument/agreement. "You'll do better, trust me. I'll see to that," Nathaniel promised.
