Nathaniel watched Eva approach from the sidewalk outside, taking notice of her smart, light-colored jumpsuit. "Good morning and no," Nathaniel said and had actively begun to push the gift away. Once he realized what the wooden box was, however, Nate couldn't suppress his curiosity. Caltrops opened the box and quickly examined the contents. "These are lovely," he said feeling the wood grain and the realization that these were hand-carved. "But I couldn't," he quickly returned the dice and closed the box. "It's too much," he started. Time, money, the effort even. Though, as his hand pushed the gift away, his fingers tightened around the object. "Although, I'd hate to insult you or the artist - assuming it wasn't you. Or is your list of talents even longer than I thought?" Nate added, the box suddenly back on his side of the desk.
