Re: Brainchild | 5-1-2019 | Evening "Was... that a proposal?"
Hooooh. Oh. Hoh. Uh. Their lips were locked, but Loki blinked back his surprise, eyes wide open. He then cleared his throat to buy himself a moment. "Your wish, if I recalled, was that no harm came to me." Another throat clearing, and he moved his face back from Thea's some. "Is that..." hm, "a question that would be well met?" he wondered, delicately.
He cared for Thea quite a great deal. He'd even use the word love (erf). But the concept of marriage, for himself, hadn't been a consideration of the prince's. He'd always assume he'd be assigned a wife against his will and live out his days in contempt. But so many things had changed as of late, and he hadn't had a moment to consider what those changes meant for his private life. And... public life. Marrying Thea would make her a princess. And possibly a queen were his plans to go as he hoped. Still, he kept his composure and wet his recently-dried lips.
"You would honestly consider such a thing with me?" He smirked, but he was quite serious in his wonder. Thea was smart. She understood his reputation and track record and plans. But still, she'd considered the idea, at least once, apparently.
